Yellowstone Top 10

To go with the pictures I posted I thought I would share a few highlights from our Yellowstone trip. So here is my Top 10 Moments...in no paticular order.

#10: Finding out there was a grizzly bear frequenting the campground we were staying at and having to be very careful with our food and such. Sure the food was in the car but what about my dirty, smelly sleeping children in the tent....

#9: Bridger climbing into the car and saying "Drive me Mom. There's bears out there!" ater Mark told him the bears would get him if he didn't go to bed. Eventually I convinced him that if we were very quiet we could hide from the bears in our tent.

#8: The kids playing "toilet tag" Inspired by the latrine style restroom they were forced to use.

#7: Riley (Carolyns almost 5 yr old) refusing to use a bathroom with out running water. Pretty funny lol.

#6: Making the bathroom run with my sisters with Jonathan lurking in the shadows while we totally freaked ourselves out telling weird stories and then having to walk back to my tent all alone.

#5: Having to stop every 15 mins to let yet another kid out to pee in the bushes while driving the upper loop in Yellowstone....seriously who kept giving those kids access to the water bottles haha!

#4: Boiling stinky mud, Old Faithfull, hikes, a petrified tree, misquitoes, "Bird Poo Mountain" (thats what the kids called it anyways lol), breathtaking views, buffalo, elk, a bald eagle, and even a bear.

#3: Realizing Rooker was missing and then realizing that he is the one standing a neighboring campers table with his coonskin hat on and a stick in his hand yelling and having a blast with his new found friends.

#2: Traffic jams caused by a chipmunk...okay maybe a bear who knows, we couldn't see anything half the time but comeon people move it off the road....and I don't think that buffalo wants to be pet....

and

#1 Spending time with my awesome family(aww)
